The third mission of the World Bank was held in Bucharest during the September 18 – 19, 2013 period, and it had as main objectives:

• Finalizing the sectoral reports regarding the rapid evaluation of climate risks and actions, in the energy (including energy efficiency), transportation, urban planning, forestry, agriculture and rural development sectors, including the components related to the water sector in the aforementioned sectors. The reports shall underpin the sectoral recommendations which focus on the EU 2014-2020 funds absorption, for actions with a climate component,
• The duration of the preparatory stage related to the development of the economic modeling component for the above mentioned sectors, as part of the support granted to the Romanian Government for building the analytical capacity and the knowledge base necessary in order to develop a competitive economy, with low emissions and resilient to climate changes.

The main objectives of the third mission were developed during the two workshops organized on September 18 and September 19, 2013, at the headquarters of the World Bank in Bucharest.
