During the June 3-7, 2013 period a mission of the World Bank was organized in Bucharest and the topic was that of climate change.

One of the objectives of the mission – which included approximately 20 national and international consultants – was that of collecting data and developing an initial analysis regarding the identification of priority measures in the field of climate change, for the 2014-2020 operational programs. The identification of these measures also represents one of the specific components of the program.

On Tuesday, June 4, a meeting has held at the headquarters of MEWF, dedicated to programming the 2014-2020 EU funds in the sectors where polices and measures also include climate components.

The session included discussions with the World Bank experts related to programming the 2014-2020 EU funds in the field of energy, transportation, agriculture, regional – urban development, and forests.
